Air Ducting Clamps

Price range: R35.00 through R50.00

Use a correctly sized clamp at each ventilation connection.

Air ducting clamps secure flexible ducting around a matching round flange on a fan, filter or outlet. The current options are labelled for 100mm, 150mm and 200mm connections. Choose the size from the actual fitting, not the size of the grow tent. The screw-tightened band shown in the product image can be adjusted around the joint. Seat the duct properly before tightening, then check that the band grips evenly without damaging the duct wall. A clamp secures a connection; it is not a hanger for the weight of a fan or filter.

Air Ducting Clamps description

Air Ducting Clamps product view

Secure the Duct Connection

Choose a clamp that fits the fan or filter flange and keeps the duct joint in place.

Where a Ducting Clamp Fits

Use the clamp where flexible duct meets a round fitting. Check every joint in the planned route rather than assuming one clamp secures the complete ventilation system.

Fan connections

Secure ducting around the matched inlet or outlet flange.

Filter flanges

Fasten the duct at the carbon-filter connection.

Outlet fittings

Hold the duct around a suitable round outlet connection.

Maintenance replacements

Replace a missing or damaged clamp with the correct size.

Air Ducting Clamps FAQ

How do I select the size?

Match the clamp option to the nominal diameter of the actual flange and duct.

Is the clamp a fan hanger?

No. It secures a duct joint and should not carry the weight of a fan or filter.

Where should it sit on the joint?

Place the band over the duct where it overlaps the flange, with the screw accessible for adjustment.

Does the clamp alone guarantee an airtight joint?

No. Correct overlap, fit and any suitable sealing method still matter. Check the connection after installation.

How many do I need?

Count the separate duct-to-fitting joints in your layout. Check the sales unit before setting the order quantity.

Can I reuse it?

Inspect the band and screw first. Replace damaged or unreliable fasteners rather than tightening them further.
